Hi, I’m Alexa! I’m a Communications Specialist at Boston University’s Institute for Global Sustainability. I recently graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University with a BS in Communication Studies & Design and a minor in Environmental Studies.
I’ve previously supported marketing and communications at Green Century, piloted programs at the Northeastern Asian American Center, contributed to digital communications at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and coordinated urban agriculture programs at the City of Boston.
I also volunteer as a mentor for young Asian American girls through ASPIRE and previously taught horticulture to incarcerated students through the New Garden Society.
Outside of work, I stay grounded through boxing, yoga, lifting, and running, and I love spending time outside hiking, gardening, and putting together floral arrangements for the people I love.
